How Does It Take For Metoprolol 4 Side Effects To Go Away?
I am a 73 yr old male in reasoably good shape. started Metoprolol 4 and a half months ago and had 8 serious side effects. Asked Doc if I could stop and he said OK. Been off for about 3 weeks, still have a lot of the same side effects. How long will it take for the side effects to go away? Thanks
The drug would be out of the system by about one day. It gets to be truly random to ascribe a side effect to one drug that isn't there anymore and not to any other medicine you've ever taken. Most adverse events occur when someone is not on medications. Every reason one takes a drug is also listed as a side effect. If you have a headache and take aspirin. You've got a headache associated with the aspirin.
The real question is can you ever say anything is ever not due to the metoprolol?
