How Does Levest Pill And Metformin Pill Works?

I am 33 years old, with PCOS. Initially, I weighed 87kg but now post going to gym extensively it has taken me 2 years to loose 13kg. I now weigh 74kg but need to loose 8 or 9 kg more as I am 165cm in height. I am on Levest pill for my PCOS, how is this pill different from Metformin?
