You have genital herpes, transmitted mainly by human herpes virus 2 (HHV-2). (HHV-1 causes oral lesions; HHV-2 causes genital lesions). The virus is present in the fluid within the vesicles. Rupture of the vesicles and contact of the infective vesicular fluid with the skin of the uninfected person can transmit the infection. Herpes can also be transmitted by oral sex.
In your case, there appears to be a possibility for infection.
