How Effective Is Crocin In Reducing Fever?
sir my son is suffering for high fever from many days my doctor suggest me crocin syrup till test reports come. and adds cefydoc-0 100-DT but even after having crocin syrup fever is as it please tell me function of crocin syrup why fever not goes for even 1 hour

Syrup crocin is basically antipyretic ( fever reducing ) with analgesic properties.
As your son is also on cefydoc-O the given medications are apropriate for the senario.
It is better to wait for the test results to come, if the fever is not responding to crocin you can take the syrup with the contents ibuprofen with paracetamol combination & can give upto 3 times a day.
For proper dosage have a consultation with your doctor.
