How Effective Is Thyrono Tab(50mcg) For Hypothyroid Problem?

Hi Doctor,
I am 26yrs Old, married & expecting my pregancy.
Iam suffering from hypothyroid problem since 3yrs., doctor advised me to take thyrono Tab(50mcg) for long life.
Is there any chances to cure my thyroid problem completely.
please help me regarding this for my future.

Hello,
I have gone through your query. As you have mentioned that you are being prescribed Tab. Thyronorm for your hypothyroid problem.

I want to tell you that this tablet that you are taking is not a medicine. Infact it is a hormone which your thyroid gland should produce, but due to some unknown reason, it is not producing. Hence, you will have to take this tablet probably for life until your thyroid gland regains its capacity to produce the hormone again.

The cause of hypothyroidism is unknown in most of the cases.

Please note: As you have mentioned that you are expecting, in that case you have to be extra careful regarding taking this tablet and getting your thyroid function tests done.
