How Fast Does The Tolerance Build Up For Benadryl?
A friend of mine, against my warnings, uses benadryl to get high, or to trip . My question is how fast does the tolerance build up for benadryl? He is taking high doses around 600 almost every night. This started maybe a couple days ago. He weighs around 215. Does he get high doing it back to back like this? I am trying to stop this and I need to know.

It should be of great concern to anyone who is taking Benadryl in greater quantity as it can cause hallucinations, convulsions, and death.
Tolerance to Benadryl’s hypnotic effects starts developing immediately, after a week or two it’s quite useless as an hypnotic.
Once the hypnotic effect is gone it won’t come back, not even by raising the dose. However, it’s antihistaminic effects don’t diminish over time.
