How Is An Inflammed Cyst On The Back Usually Treated?
My dermatologist looked at my mloes; one is coming off my back because it rubs against my jeans. But then I showed him something I noticed; he said it was a cyst,? It looks like a huge blackhead with fluid underneath and red ring around the fluid. I was tryong to accidently burst it with my back brus-no go!I will be seeing him this Tuesday. What will normally be done with a cyst like that? Will he cut? Put a drain?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. if there are no skin changes such as redness, pus discharge or pain and fever then you should not be worried since it can be easily surgically removed under local anesthesia and this is the best solution since otherwise it may heal for long time. Then it there are doubts it can be sent to the patohistologic analysis. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
