How Is Bilateral Endometriosis Cyst Treated?

hi, i'm 40years old, i was diagnosed with bilateral endometrial cyst 3 years ago...medicated with depo provera injection every 3 months...with subsequent follow up and ultrasound..for a year now my menstruation occur every 3 months, but before i have monthly period..am i in the pre-menopausal period?last 2 days i felt slight abdominal pain and bloated that prompt me to have an ultrasound... result showed: the anterior and posterior myometrial walls demonstrate coarse echopattern, suggestive of adenomyosis...there is also a small, anterior, mid-segment, intramural myoma nodule measuring 6x7mm...impression: retroverted average sized uterus with adenomyosis and myoma nodule...thin and intact endometrium...normal ovaries with mature follicle on the left..can you explain what does it mean?
