How Likely Is A Hard, Immovable, Painful, Slightly Blue Lump On Inner Forearm To Be Malignant ?

I have a hard, immovable, painful, slightly blue lump on my inner forearm. It is about an inch long. Sometimes the pain goes down and up my arm, especially after use or palpation. A few months ago, my husband s oncologist said that it was a lipoma. The doctor today said that it was not a lipoma because it is too deep, hard, and fixed. Also, it seems to affect my middle, ring, and pinky fingers. What can it be? How likely is it to be malignant?

Hi. It is very very rare to have malignant lump on forearm. From your history - it looks to be a sebaceous cyst or other lesion , compressing on the nerves supplying the fingers. This itself is an indication for removal and to be sent for biopsy too. Removal may cure it as well as mind gets free of the anxiety with it.
