How Long After Taking Primolut-N Will Ovulation Start?

Hi Dr. I was prescribed Primulot (2 daily for a week) in order to jump start my periods - I have not had a period since I gave birth a year ago and am wanting to get pregnant again soon. Before I became pregnant I had non-ovulatory cycles and had to take medication to encourage ovulation. I then started ovulating on day 18 of my cycle. What I want to know is how long after I start Primulot can I expect to ovulate and then get my period. Thanks Anneke

Hello,

Primolut N will help to treat menstrual disorders & hormone imbalances.

Continue to take Primolut N, once you start getting your periods in a regular way, you will have to get tested to investigate whether you are ovulating.

You may have to go through Imaging tests to detect the normal functioning of the ovary.

If you are not ovulating in a natural way, you will have to get treated for it. Clomiphene Citrate is effective.

It helps to induce the formation of eggs in women who are not able to ovulate naturally.

Get connected to a gynae so that you can be treated at the earliest.
