How Long Can One Stay Alive Without Food And Water?
My 86 year old mother had a stroke 6 weeks ago. It made swallowing difficult for her. However, she was eating pureed food and drinking until 3 days ago. Now she doesn't want to live anymore so she is refusing water and food. She has been on hospice and just wants to die now. How long before she dies of dehydration or hunger?
