Hello,

As per your query, you have absorbable stitches on the lips which will take around 15 days to 1 month to heal if age is young. Otherwise it will take around 2 months.

You should take proper rest and avoid any sunlight exposure. Avoid exposure to germs and outside environment. Apply aloe oil 2 times a day.

If symptoms keep on persisting, visit oral physician once and get it examined. Start treatment accordingly. Take proper course of antibiotics if any signs of infection there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
