How Long Do Pregnancy Symptoms Last After Abortion?
i was 7weeks pregnant when i decided to have a medical abortion, that was 6days ago. my breasts feel like they are still growing, sore and quite hard. my nipples are dry and flakey too. i have been getting hot sweats at random points throughout the day and night also experiencing backache along with the obvious cramps, is this normal?
Hello dear Understand your concern Pregnancy symptoms will remain for 5-7 days after medical abortion. Sore breast, dry nipple, hot sweats may be due to stress and hormonal imbalance. You should have to follow up after 7 days of using pill. And at 14th day USG is needed too confirm incomplete abortion that also cause pregnancy symptoms. Incomplete abortion is treated by surgical process like D & C or extra dose of misoprostol. Adivice are as follow: Proper rest, healthy diet with iron supplements, analgesic, avoid high fat and salt diet, gentle massage to breast with prime rose oil. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
