how long is c diffs contagious? even if his bms are clearing up, hasn t gone in 3 or 4 days, he was just discharged to the nursing home he got it from, but I would like to bring him home. he was ready to be dischared from the nursing home where he was on sept. 11th, he was sent to the nursing home where he got the c diffs. but I want to bring him home. I feel all he needs is a home health care team to get him back on track again. but I concerned about catching it myself and for my young adult children who have kids of their own..

they are ready to discharge means it is no mor contagious. youcan consult treating doctor and necessary home care. avoid close contact for some time
