Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Regarding food you need to take meals in little amount and have a walk about 40 steps at least after each meal. Don't take full stomach meals nor take liquids after meal directly. Use your medicines (PPI or other anti acid) properly. Avoid spicy, salty and sour meals. As for as H. pylori eradication is concerned, it needs at least 10-14 days treatment to be eradicated. So be patient and have your medication on time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
H. pylori treatment consist of one-week triple therapy regimen as first-line eradication therapy. The optimum regimen, consists of a full dose proton pump inhibitor, with Amoxicillin and either Clarithromycin or (in the case of penicillin hypersensitivity) Metronidazole and Clarithromycin all given twice daily. Eradication is effective in 80-85% of patients on triple therapy using either antibiotic combination. Usually, it would take about a week to 10 days for the complete relief from all the symptoms after completing the treatment. Until then, you need to follow the diet and medications what has been prescribed. Seek advice from a Gastroenterologist if eradication of H. pylori is not successful with first-line therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
