Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I was taking 30mg of Lisinopril and became very unwell. I stopped taking them 2 days ago (I did see my doctor before stopping). I would like to know how long I have to expect to keep feeling sick with dull tummy ache? The dizziness seems to have subsided and the pressure behind my right eye is not here today although I did have it last night. I had to go to A + E 2 weeks ago because I thought I was going to pass out and had a complete meltdown last Saturday, thinking I was going to die. Until yesterday I havent eaten properly for over a week, afraid of the tummy problems. I just want to feel better. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Sarah.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, what ever the symptoms you have stated here are not due to the medicine "Lisinopril" but these could be due to nonspecific reasons it is advisable to continue the anti-hypertensive medicines, try to stay away from the stress, else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
