How Long Does Marijuana Remain In The Body System?

For about 2 weeks, I smoked marijuana almost everyday. Maybe 4-6 times a week. It s been about 3 weeks since then. I haven t smoked marijuana one time since. I have been exposed to second-hand marijuana smoke, and I have sucked the smoke into my mouth (very small amount) and blew it out without inhaling it into my lungs. If given a drug test sometime between now and a few weeks from now, would I pass? If it helps at all, I weigh around 190 and my metabolism isn t slow. Thanks!

Hi,

It is multi compartmental. The blood stream, urine and liver is about 5 days. BUT it is very oily and accumulates in fat. There was a single article where people who were very heavy chronic smokers were put in a dorm (rehabilitation!?) and their urine tested daily. Sometimes up to over a month later they would have a positive urine.

This is presumed to occur from some leaking out of fat stores. The levels were small. The sucking into the mouth is kidding yourself and if you are tested within a week of that you will be positive. If before this period you didn't smoke, then 5 days. IF prior to the time period you are mentioning you smoked moderately to heavily daily, you probably will be positive.
