Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey Dr. Andrew, Andrew here. Just wondering about this drug test I have coming up for my (hopefully) new job and they are administering a hair test. I was out with some friends a couple weeks ago and smoked 2 blunts with them. The test is next month, do I have a chance?
Generally, if you smoked only once, and have not repeated till now, the tetrahydrocannabinol (the marijuana chemical we test) might stay for several days till a few weeks.
I think it should be ok for you to take the test in a month taking into account your last use of marijuana a couple of weeks ago.
I think you'll be clear. But remember do not try it again, otherwise, it might be present even in small traces.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
