How Long Does Mini Pill Take To Be Completely Out Of The System?
Hi there i just recently started with a mini pill Diane-35 and i fell ill went on anti biotics but continued with the pill, on friday i went back onto anti biotics as i was bitten by a dog and i am now off the pill as i would like to fall pregnant. how long should i wait to try falling pregnant.....how long will the mini pill effects take to completely wash out of my system?
You may try to conceive any moment you wish from now on. Minipill protection fades with two missed doses so you may conceive soon after stopping it. Please make sure you use folic acid daily till 12 weeks of pregnancy or prenatal vitamins to prevent some birth defects on the baby.
I hope I have answered your query and have been helpful to you.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
