How Long Does Rabipur Vaccines Last?

How long does rabipore vaccines last?? I have taken a course on November or december 2011 when my cat bite my hand, though he is fine now..
Today (28th aug 2012) I am being bitten by a mad dog(seems to b as he bit me without any reason when I was pasing by).
Will my vaccination taken before work??
Plz help me..

I am so sorry to hear about this dog bite. Rabies vaccine last for as long as 10years. You are fore sure well protected by this vaccine. I am assuming that you completed the series which is made of 3 vaccines within a month. If that wasn't the case, please get consulted. If that was the case, you have no reasons to get worried.
