Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I drank a beer last night from 12:30am - 1:30am I drank one 22oz beer at 7% alcohol content. I drank 2 large glasses of water before bed and in the morning I urinated. At the 10:30am I urinated again for a urine drug test. Will there be any trace amounts of alcohol in my urine? I am 23 years old 170lbs 5 7 and healthy (not obese).
Understanding your concern. As per your query the body follows a pretty straightforward process when digesting alcohol. So the length of time alcohol stays in the system has more to do with how much a person drinks than any other factors . However, this can vary, depending on ,your weight , whether you're male or female , your age ,how quickly or slowly your body turns food into energy , how much food you have eaten and the type and strength of the alcohol , so we can't exectly predict the time . On average, the liver takes one hour to metabolize one ounce of alcohol . Drink water regularly and do light wal or other exercises to flush it out quickly .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
