How Long Does Depression Last After Taking Venlafaxine HCL ER 150mg Regularly?

I was diagnosed with clinical depression in April 2016 and have been taking Venlafaxine Hcl Er 24hr 150 Mg Cap ever since. There has been a small improvement but I am still severely depressed. I was hoping to be feeling better by now, how long can I expect this deep depression to last?

Hi there. Normally after being diagnosed with a condition like depression regular follow up with your doctor is needed to see response to treatment. Normally 6-8 weeks are given to see response. There are other treatment alternatives so visit your doctor who knows your history and look at other alternatives
