How Long Does It Take For A Sore Tip Of The Tongue To Heal?
I have a sore tip of the tongue problem & have had a course of Nystatin drop for 6 days but has not cured it. Does this problem take a while to come right. My mouth is very dry on waking in morning.I am on Omeprazole 40mg,2 Cilazapril,1 Metoprolol 47.5 daily. Elaine
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the soreness in the tip of your tongue could be because of the trauma or stress or due to viral infection, nystatin doesnt solve this issue....take a topical anesthetic and analgesic like anabel gel 3-4times daily for 5 days..if it is not healing then you consult a oral physician...the dryness could be because of the antihypertensive drugs...consume lot of water and keep sipping water..take artificial salivary substitute likewetmouth gel...apply it over the cheek region where the salivary gland duct opens..apply 3-4times daily.. i hope my answer will help you.. with regards..
