How Long Does It Take For Dissolvable Stitches To Disappear?
About 10 days ago I fell and split my bottom lip open. At the hospital emergency, they used disolvible stitches. My expansive wound got infected and pus keeps draining out. I've been on antibiotics for about a week, but I still have the infection. What can I do to help the infection to go away? And how long does it take for these stitches to disappear?

As there is infection, stitches if not dissolved, should be removed as it might cause difficulty in healing of wound.
Go for regular dressing of wound.
consult your doctor and discuss about this.
