How Long Does It Take To Get The Result Of A Thyroid Ultrasound?
Hello Drs. I am 28 years old, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years ago. But recently, i had some blood work done that showed that my thyroid levels were up. My Dr. arranged for me to have a thyroid ultrasound. It's been two weeks and my results are not ready. Does it normally take this long? Or could she have found something and is getting additional opinions?

Thyroid USG results take hardly a day's time.It is possible that they have found something and are getting additional opinions.You can always ask for the reason of delay!Take care!
