I have had a sore throat for the last 4 weeks started off with fever, cough, chest etc.. but all now everything has subsided although throat is still uncomfortable but not in pain. I have lymphoid hyperplasia in my throat on one side. Was given antiobiotics first and then 5 days later prednisolone (5 days) to reduce inflammation but colour did not change, i.e still a darker red than tissue next to it. How long would I give something like this to heal naturally ? and should I get this checked properly anyway ?
