I have been taking antibiotics for strep for 5 days. Yesterday I slept for most of the day and through the night. Today, my energy is low and major head pain is easily triggered. I did not test positive for strep when I got the antibiotics. My 5 yr. old Son tested positive and we are around each other all the time. I feel that the Dr. that took my strep culture did not even touch the area where I was experiencing pain (back of my throat). I asked for antibiotics any ways since this happened to me & my son last year. I am a 52 yr. old Mom, we adopted our Grandson. I'm not sure if I should just give this more time or not. The throat pain is gone, but the rest is here.
