What Causes Strep Throat?

Hi, I have 5 sores on my mon pubis area. They aren t clustered together and they don t hurt nor itch. I recently went to the doctor with a fever, body aches and swollen glands and they diagnosis it as strep throat. I was given antibiotics and I was feeling better by the end of the night. What can this be?

Usually pharyngitis (sore throat) caused by virus, it is got infected by streptococcus gram positive bacteria( secondary).

In your pubic area lymphadenopathy secondary to genital area infection. mostly inguinal lymphadenopathy willaccur In this area.

Infections like herpes, gonorrhea, chancroid, and syphilis.

Simple genital infection pubic area boils, folliculitis cause lymphadenopathy.
