How Long Does Sunburn And Body Itching Take To Heal?

I am 63, caucasion, 185 lbs, 5ft 9in. I take blood pressure pills and have glaucoma, in good physical condition. I have poison oak, Dr. gave me a shot and 12 days of predisone, it has been two weeks and I still look like I have a sunburn all over my body and I itch. How long does this take to go away?
