How Long Does Swelling In The Throat Persist After Taking Prednisone?
I have been on40 mg prednisone for several weeks. I have been having a major reaction to this medicine. I have CHF and COPD along with a lung problem. We cut down the dosage but after my throat got to swelling and was having trouble swelling I quite taking it. I had got down to 20mg. now I am ready to fly apart. How long will this last?

It could be a bout of pharyngitis. As a first line management you can do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
