Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Healing post fracture is a gradual process and may take long to complete unlike in children who have very rapidly growing bones.Fracture healing is completed during the remodeling stage in which the healing bone is restored to its original shape, structure, and mechanical strength. Remodeling of the bone occurs slowly over months to years and is facilitated by mechanical stress placed on the bone.Adequate strength after a fracture may be achieved in 3 to 6 months.
The process will be a gradual one.Just respect your Doctor's advise, rest well, eat well and healthy, get enough calcium and vitamin D, and avoid stressing the leg.
Hope my answer will help
Wish you a quick recovery
