How Long It Takes For Re-growth Of Hair On Head After Head Surgery?

Hello, I just had a surgery on my head. I was having yeast in my head and for that very reason surgery was done. For the surgery the portion from ear to ear on head was cutted and then it was stapled after the operation was completed. It s been one month since the operation is completed. My hair growth on head is normal except that stapled area of head. Will hair ever grow again in that area? The stapled area is still not straight and surface of head is uneven. I am very much worried about whether the hair will grow back again in that area and if not than what should be the next step for it. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The stapled area you refer may be related to formation of cicatricial tissue. It is a tissue where hair can't grow there. So you have few chances of having hair there. Adopt a new hairstyle to hide it. Use minixidil lotion to help hair growth.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
