How Long It Takes To Recover From Typhoid ?
I had typhoid and was hospitalized for 1 week. I had fever and diarehea. I have taken 2 weeks rest and have rejoined office now. how do i know if i am cured and good to rejoin office and normal life?

Firstly sweating must be there along with incrised appetite+lightness in body+normal calls for deafications.These r the symptones of recovery.

if you have tested your bloo dfor salmonella typhi antigen and if you know the result is positive,then it is confirmed that you had typhoid.sometimes without diagnosing the disease the hospital starts treatment and aftera week you feel o.k. to be sure that you are not having active salmonella infection you should test your blood for IgG and IgM antibodies to Salmonella Typhi.if it show negative for IgM you seem to be cured of typhoid.
hello dear, typhoid is a recurring and relapsing disease if the salmonella hides in ur gall bladder.This happens when u dont take a complete course of treatment.Get the widal test done once again, if it comes negative.Ur weakness is overcome, then u can resume back to work.
