How Long My 1 Year Old Baby Has To Take Gardanel Tablet And Is There Any Side Effect ?
my baby had a fits on 28th day of her birth now she is 1 year old daily she takes gardanel tablet how long she had to take this tablet it has any side effect? still she had no problem on her health please explain me sir about the cause and effect of this disease.

Fits in children are mostly idiopathic- no cause is detected. The treatment is continued till she does not get any convulsion for three consecutive years.
The side effects of this tablet are not dangerous and if you stop the treatment and she suffers a convulsion it might cause an irreparable damage to her brain.

common condition for convulsion are at this age are High fever, cerebral anoxia ie
less oxygen to brain at the time of delivery congenital neurological drfect infections
in brain etc. Duration of treatmen depends on condition.Regardig side effects common
