How Long Should Escitalopram Oxalate Be Taken For Partial Anxiety Disorder?
Good morning Doctor. I suffered from partial anxiety disorder for more than six months. My doctor advised me to take escitalopram oxalate eith clonazepam tablets regularly. Now it is more than one and half years old I reduced the tablet to half quantity that means half tab before bed. I suspended use for past four days. I started having a long dream live throughout night. But I am comfortable otherwise can I stop the tab or should I have to continue the same if so how long should I have to continue please advise me
Long duration of use of clonazepam can make you dependent on it. In that case, when ever you would try to leave it, you would get withdrawal problem. At such low dose, it is easier for you to stop it. If you do not have symptoms for last one year, then you can stop taking drugs and can take clonazepam on sos basis. Rest you can discuss with your psychiatrist.
Thanks
