How Long Should I Take HCG Injection During Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor,

My wife is 24 weeks pregnant and has been on HCG injection. She took that every week from 4th to 12th week. And every 15 days from 14th till 24th week. Now doctor is saying continue till 28 weeks.

I am not sure if thats required. Consulted another doctor and she said is not required.

I am in a fix what to do !!

Please advice.

Not really required after 12 to 16 weeks vis now the placenta s big enough to produce hormones.some docs do give till 30 wks but serves no purpose but gives moral strength to d doc n the pt that they have done their part to safeguard d pregnancy
