How Long Should Exercise Be Restricted To Avoid Retinal Detachment And Tear After Treatment For Acute PVD?

Hi, I am being treated for an acute PVD with a epiretinal membrane, causing blurriness and 20% larger vision in the eye with this problem. I am in the 9th week, with no change in flashes and spider floaters. How long must I continue to restrict my exercise to avoid retinal detachment and tear? When will my epiretinal membrane stop getting worse? Thank you.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your question to be very fact there no any specific time limit for this, retina is such fragile organ that we can not take any chance with it, you have to confirm the retinal status periodically, that is the only option you have otherwise just forget about the exertion right now if you do have retinal problem then you should not take any chance, I mean taking any risk, take care and have best luck.
