How Long Should Speech Therapy Be Given For A Child With Autism?
Hi my 2.8 old son is having autism and we are going to speech therapy from 4 months now he got sitting tolerance and his eye contact has improved but very poor in verbally but understands every command of me and do accordingly and obeys my commands and I want to know how many more months it will take to make my son to communicate nicely . He don t play with other kids and don t mingle with them please give me any suggestions
Autism, as you would know, is associated with problems communicating with other persons.
He may not ever communicate normally though it is possible that he may continue to improve as he persists with therapy. This can take months to years to occur.
His therapist would be tell you about his progress and the chance of improvement.
