How Long Someone Can Live With A Transplanted Heart ?

I don t know much about heart transplants, but..my lover is getting one..I know they don t have a long time to live..but what are the rates of how long they ll live she s 20..and she s getting a new heart in 6 months and there s 23 people ahead of her since there s people that die they donate their heart and stuff.
