How Long The Fractured Rib Cage Take To Heal After A Fall?
I fractured my rib in a fall where I broke both bones in my left arm at the wrist. The fall was 12/24/13. My rib was feeling ok, but after bending I have pain again in the area where I fractured my rib. My question is; Is it usual to reinjure the rib after a break, and when can i lift any kind of weight with out server pain?
I have studied your case with diligence. Yes there can be possibility of reinjury to rib. It may take 3 month time to heal.
Medication like muscle relaxant and analgesic will reduce pain along with it use rib support belt. You may consult physiotherapist for pain management. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case. You may need to take rest for early healing.
