How Long The Meditation To Be Continued For The Rash?
Hi Dr Prasad. Thursday night I started to get a strange soreness all down my leg. This morning I felt a rash at the base of my spine which was painful. I went to a walk in clinic to be told I have shingles. I am on Aciclover 800mg five times a day. Can you tell me, how long does the medication take to work and can the infection spread to my face? Shingles follows a pattern: The first sign is often burning or tingling pain.
Somewhere between 1 and 5 days after the tingling or burning feeling on the skin, a red rash will appear.
Acyclovir works best when started within 48 hours of symptom onset.
You may see improvements after three days.
