I have an ulser on my right corena that I m being treated for . Its bee a little over a week now...I first had one in October and now again. What I wanted to know is How long does it usually take to heal from this...They said I have a scar on my corena from the last time and the ulser is in the same place as it was before
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. Thanks for the query.. The time for the ulcer to resolve depends on the size of the ulcer, cause of the ulcer and the general condition of the patient.. Recurrent corneal ulcer may be due to viral infections or autoimmune related.. They may take at least 2-3 wks time or more if treated properly..and definitely will leave a scar.. Discuss with your doctor about the cause and the treatment plan.. You need to use the prescribed medications without fail.. Hope this information is helpful to you.. Will be available for further queries.. Regards...
