How Long Viral Fever In An Infant Last?
Doc, My 12 month old son is having fever for last 5 days. Paediatric said he has viral fever, and we give him acetaminophen drops for every 6 hours. How long viral fever can go on? he is active , eating and drinking as usual. Anything else to be checked? Thanks Prabhu

Generally, it will settle by five to seven days. If fever last for more than one week, we have to rule out other causes and blood work up may be required.
