How Many Days After Recovering From Dengue Should Exercise Routine Be Resumed?
I was diagnosed with dengue a few days ago. Actually the disease started 8 days ago, had a couple of days with high fever and joint pain then started recovering. Right now I only have some little itching in my hands and feet. Ganglions are also turning back to its regular size. Platelet count is 175.000, leukocytes finally reached the minimum (4.5+). I didn t suffer any visible hemorrhages, nor abdominal pain. Lowest platelet count was 105.000 (but the day I got that blood work wasn t the worse, I have to confess). My question is: how long should I wait before coming back to my regular exercise routine? It includes basically heavy weight lifting. Thanks!
