How Much Syrup Is To Be Given To The Child Having Headache And Fever?
Hi I have a friend with a 2.5 year old who has a headache and temperature. She has Paediatric Ponstan (mefenamic acid) syrup but has lost the information leaflet and would like to know how much of the syrup to give her child. Thank you for your help.

Mephenemic acid syrup is given in a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight.
The dose has nothing to do with the age of the child.
Mephenemic acid syrup contains 100 mg/5 ml.
