How Much Time It Takes To Recover Completely From C Section?
My incision feels a little tight on the right side. I also feel a pull on getting out of bed. There is no pain though. Its been three months since I delivered via c section. Is it normal. How much time it takes to recover completely after c section.
Sometimes a few stitches given on the inner tissues may be tight and so they feel a pull in certain postions. Infection also causes pain.
Post natal exercises help in recovery. Also as the sutures [ threads] used to stitch the tissues begin to dissolve, this pain decreases. It is expected that in most cases the sutures dissolve in a few weeks but in some women they may persist and if non dissolving sutures are used then they may remain life long.
Drugs like serratiopeptidase help in decreasing the inflammation and help recovery.
So get an examination to rule out infection and if it is not there, then use serratiopeptidase and exercises to help recovery. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
