How Often Should I Take Vitamin D3 Sachets ?

I am low on Vit.D3, less than 4, was given 600,000 IU and level came to 29. Now on D3 I was ow on Vit.D3, was less than 4 ng/ml 3 months back, was given 600,000 IU Archacitol injection, and level came to 29. Now on D3 saches (60,000 IU) once every 15 days. Still sometimes feel muscle weakness and bone joint pains. Age: 50, Height: 5 7 , weight:110 kgs. should frequency of taking D3 sache be increased. How frequently should I check Vit.D3 level through blood sample.

Vit D3 is a very important vitamin acting on about 2000 genes. There is in the general population a shortage of this essential vitamin(actually a neuro steroid) especially in elderly people.Helps to maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure and bone structure.
Sunlight via the skin is an important way of making vit. D3( D2 is an artificial product).
The beneficial effect of this vitamin on the risk of cancers is very important .
Showering (and sun blocks)after sun bath reduces the amount of vit D3! which will be building up in about 3 days in your body.UV B makes vit D3 (not via a window!).
The blood test to control D3 levels are thus very relevant for you and family members.

In people whose 20 to 30 ng/mL (50 to 75 nmol/L), treatment usually includes 800 to 1000 international units of vitamin D3 by mouth daily, usually for a three month period. . The "ideal" dose of vitamin D is determined by testing the individual's vit D3 level, and increasing the vitamin D dose if the level is not within normal limit.
In people whose vitamin D level is normal (>30 ng/mL [≥75 nmol/L]), a dose of 800 international units of vitamin D per day is usually recommended.
