How Safe Are Obimet Sr Tablets?

hello,i am taking obimet sr tablets daily,my doctor adviced me to take this so that it helps to clear any ovary probs and also for getting pregnant.but i heard from some that its given for diabetic patients and also for reducing weight?will it helps in getting pregnant?is that safe to take this tablets during pregnancy?please answer my quest....

Your doctor prescribed OBIMET s r i.e. metformin .
This is very effective for the treatment of DIABETES but as well also in Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease ( pcod ) i.e ovarian problem in your case .
So for this ovarian problem , your doctor advised this drug and it is very saf .
Now answer of your question.
Yes definitely this will help in getting pregnancy ( because it will solve your ovarian problem ) .
Once you will get pregnancy , your doctor will stop this drug . otherwise this is also a safe drug in pregnancy also for fetus as well as mother ( monitoring is important during pregnancy ) .
