How Safe Is Atenolol For Anxiety ?
I have been prescribed Atenolol for anxiety and am currently on paxil. I have been taking Atenolol for about a week. Is it ok to stop taking it, because I would rather take it when needed, if I feel nervous about something. Is it safe to stop after taking it for a week. Are there withdrawal symptoms.

U can stop atenolol. It would not cause any withdrawal symptoms. Paxil will look after underline anxiety symptoms. In case u feel any anxiety, better to take tab Clonazepam 0.5mg sos. That would get better and safer response.
