How Safe Is Cytoctec Pills For Abortion?
Hey I have a qustion I tried to have abortion but it failed I used the cytoctec pills for abortion I only had the pains for 2 days then It went away I went for a check up and I found that I am still pregnant and my baby is moving....will my baby born normal

Cytotec is about 95% effective in causing abortion. There is a 5% chance that you don't abort. That is the reason for continuing pregnancy in your case.
With the use of Misoprostol during pregnancy there is a risk that the baby will have birth defects ( limb defects, facial and skull defects, sixth and seventh nerve paralysis etc). Therefore it is not a good idea to keep the baby now. The risk for major congenital anomalies in general population is 1-3%. With the use of Misoprostol this risk is almost doubled.
I would certainly advise you to complete the abortion process.
To complete the abortion process discuss with your doctor and preferably have surgical procedure rather than repeating the tablets for abortion.
